About Willow Creek Winery

Our signature wines include a cream sherry, chocolate temptations & chautauqua chocolate wine, and wine slushies.

Willow Creek Winery started in 1999 with just a few wines, now we produce 19 wines and 3 specialty wines. All wines are made on the premises.

Willow Creek Winery's tasting and sales building, is the original farm house built in the early 1800s that sits on 26 scenic acres not far from Lake Erie just outside Silver Creek, NY in beautiful Sheridan, NY.

History of Willow Creek Winery

1999 - JIM EMERSON
Mr. Emerson was a teacher for Lake Shore Central School. He was a homemade wine maker for 20 years. His hobby turned into a dream. Jim started a wine making club in 1992 which grew to 40 members. In 1999 he retired from teaching. Together with 15 winemakers, Willow Creek Winery was born. In 2000 Willow Creek Winery was narrowed to 7 share holders which remains the same today. Unfortunately in 2000 Mr. Emerson unexpectedly passes away.

Guests were treated to a first class environment with great food being supplied by different venders and crafters. Our bar offered wine, beer and wine slushies for all to enjoy. We also offered free camping during our events. People were encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chair so they could relax on the lawn and enjoy 6 hours of entertainment. In 2009 we offered 3 national concerts, and in 2010 we plan to triple the number of concerts we offer.
